Security services offer tangible social and financial benefits – not only for our customers, but for society as a whole. At Securitas, sustainable operations are the foundation for our long-term growth. The business must be sustainable, not only financially, but also socially and environmentally. For us, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our everyday work.

In our work, we prioritize issues that are close to our operations, have the largest impact and over which we have power to make a change. Our measures to improve our handling of environmental and social aspects are taken in a step-by-step manner.

Sustainable operations

Securitas operates in 53 countries and employs more than 335,000 people globally. Being a responsible and solid employer is a priority, but we must also conduct our business in an ethical manner, consider our environmental impact and offer high-quality services. Only then will all areas of our operations become sustainable.

Securitas conducts responsible and often sensitive operations. Securitas' Values and Ethics Code serves as a guiding document for our work and helps us to uphold and promote a high ethical business standard. More detailed support documents have also been established, including an anti-corruption policy and an emissions policy for the vehicles purchased or leased by Securitas.

Securitas aims to be a responsible, honest and transparent company and we encourage an ongoing dialog with our stakeholders – from customers to suppliers and political decision-makers.

Sustainability Report 2016

Securitas strives to continuously improve our sustainability work and communication. Submitting a sustainability report according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines for the 2016 financial year forms part of this aim.

In summary, we see many positive effects in conducting our business responsibly. For us, responsible business is good business.
